The Hursley Kids page is new.
It is the idea of Ben Winchester (11) who wanted to start a kids page, and in the process learn a bit more about building a website. Ben is the editor of this page, he will also try to send a weekly kids update to the HVI news alters.

All well known doctor who has announced his retirement to Doctor Who and will be missed by all. He will be acting in 4 specials next year under the new writer Steven Moffat.

There's more bad news for Arsenal and England player Theo Walcott - he'll be out of action for three months after having surgery on his injured shoulder. The 19-year-old dislocated his right shoulder during training with the England squad ahead of Wednesday's friendly with Germany. It's the latest in a series of shoulder injuries he's had during his career. His boss at Arsenal, Arsene Wenger, said it would take Theo a while to use his shoulder again.

Japanese scientists have successfully cloned mice from dead mice that have been frozen for 16 years!
Cloning isn't new - in the past, sheep, horses and even a pet dog have all been cloned from living animals. But now scientists have found a way to clone dead animals, as long as their remains have been frozen to preserve their unique genes. They're also hoping they can one day use similar techniques to clone species that died out years ago, like mammoths.
Fun Days Out
There are lot's of fun day's out. There's marwell zoo which is a fun educational zoological environment. Paultans park is a fun theme park outdours, aswell as containing a riverside walk. JJ's is a foam padded play place, allong with Samandipedidy Sams (map), Kings Kingdon and kids2day. These are the best places for a rainy day

Swimming
There are many near by swimming pools including Romsey Rappids, Bathingstoke Flemming Park and Southampton. Romsey Rappids are great for family days out. it has a large addult pool and a smaller kids sized pool. There are 3 pools at Bathingstoke, a racing pool, a kid pool and a normal pool.
